Jolly Pets Push-n-Play herding ball

Push-and-drive work for herding dogs, at lower sprint intensity than fetch.

Throwing is the point of all this work. On your terms.

What it is for

A hard ball too big to bite, so a heeler drives it with shoulders and nose instead of sprinting flat out. For households testing whether the shape of work matters, it keeps the working brain fed at a different intensity than ball fetch. It floats, and the fourteen inch size is the point: jaws are supposed to fail on it.

Job bucket: hypothesis-support

What it is not

Not a replacement for what your dog loves, and not automatically safer. It is a different load, to be tested like any other idea.

When your Club partner may mention it

When it fits an active hypothesis, a love-move you already named, or you ask. Never as a cure.
